Four years ago I did an Internet search for contractors, as none of my friends or relatives had anyone they could recommend, and going through the yellow pages was no help. So, when I found Artisan Home Builders online, and found out they had good ratings, I hired them to re-do my kitchen cabinets and paint the kitchen. The work was so great, and working with them was so easy, that four years later, when my husband and I decided to knock out a wall and enlarge our family room/dining room area, we called them again to get an estimate, and after a couple of other estimates, went with Artisan again. As in the previous job, they kept in constant contact, did everything we wanted, and even suggested a few things we didn’t think about, that we would have been sorry we didn’t include, later on.
They cleaned up nicely every day when they were done, and when they promised a finish date, they lived up to their promise. Two days after it was completed, we were hosting a Super Bowl party with all our friends, walking into the house and standing in awe of the beautiful work. I even overheard a very critical friend mention how beautiful it was, and that it looked like it was out of a home design magazine.
I feel like I live in a completely new house, and I can’t begin to rave enough about how happy I am with the work!!

Our current appraisal came in at $1.XX million. Our last appraisal was in August 2013 and that one came in $200k less. Of course, there are a number of factors affecting an appraisal, but I’m sure the work on the kitchen and laundry helped. : )
